AMSOIL HEAVY DUTY METAL PROTECTOR

AMSOIL
Heavy DutyMetal
Protector (MPHD) ais easy-to-use spray-on synthetic
products that protect metal surfaces, displace water and silence
squeaks. MPHD lubricates metal surfaces, leaving a dry waxlike film.
Neither forms gum or sludge.
AMSOIL MPHD is the product of choice for metal
surfaces that require a heavy duty lubricant or are exposed to the
damaging effects of salt, moisture or chemical corrosion. It is ideal
for hinges, wire ropes and springs, nuts and bolts, motorcycle or
bicycle chains, and for undercoating wheelwells and other metal surfaces
exposed to water, dirt or road salt.
Performance Features
- Protects against rust & corrosion, even in
salt water
- Displaces water
- Stops squeaks
- Lubricates metal surfaces
- Leaves a dry, long-lasting, waxlike film
- Lubricant does not attract dust
- Does not sling off
- Sprays into hard-to-reach places
- Ideal for chains & other heavy-use items
AMSOIL METAL PROTECTOR

AMSOIL
Metal Protector (MP) is easy-to-use
spray-on products that protect metal surfaces, displace water and
silence squeaks. MP cuts through rust and corrosion to restore free
movement of “frozen” hardware parts.
AMSOIL MP is the product of choice for drying
electrical and ignition systems and protecting electrical equipment from
freshwater and saltwater damage. AMSOIL MP is also the product of choice
for protecting firearms and other fine componentry. It contains no
silicone. AMSOIL MP is compatible with plastic, leather, fabric, fishing
line and paint.
Performance Features
- Cuts through rust and frees frozen components
- Protects against rust & corrosion, even in salt
water
- Prevents rust and corrosion, even in salt water
- Displaces water
- Stops squeaks
- Clean—Leaves no film
- Sprays into hard-to-reach places
- Protects electrical equipment
- Ideal for firearms and other fine componentry
AMSOIL SILICONE LUBRICANT SPRAY

AMSOIL
Silicone Spray (ALS)perfect for
lubricating non-metallic surfaces that come into contact with metal,
nylon, cardboard, fiberglass, wood or plastic surfaces. Use anywhere a
light-duty or silicone lubricant is required. Special non-staining
formula. USDA H-1 rated for incidental contact with food. Excellent for
waterproofing leather boots, shoes, jackets, suede, etc
- Formulated for use on metal-to-nonmetal or
nonmetal-to-nonmetal contact surfaces
- Leaves a dry lubricating film
- Helps prevent rubber cracking and drying
- Displaces water
- Excellent mold release lubricant
- USDA H-1 rated
- Point and spray convenience

Two- and four-stroke recreational
vehicles, hand-held power equipment, small engines, construction and
farm equipment are commonly operated seasonally or infrequently, then
stored for long periods of time. During these periods of inactivity, and
as a result of fluctuations in ambient temperatures, water vapor can
form condensate within the engine. When this condensate comes into
direct contact with steel and iron components, it forms surface
corrosion on cylinder liners, piston rings, anti-friction bearings and
steel/iron contact surfaces on rotational seals. Long periods of storage
can also dry out cylinders, often resulting in permanent damage when the
equipment is taken out of storage and dry started. In addition, fuel
within stored equipment tends to oxidize and form varnish and sludge
deposits that clog injectors, fuel lines and carburetors, stick floats
and cause poor engine performance, starting problems, increased
maintenance expenses and decreased equipment life.
Most two- and four-stroke motor oils
are formulated to have an affinity to engine component surfaces, acting
as a barrier that keeps condensate from contacting engine components and
forming corrosion. However, the effectiveness of motor oil in this area
diminishes with time.
AMSOIL Engine Fogging Oil (FOG) offers
superior film retention, providing long-term protection against
corrosion and dry starts, extending engine life and reducing operating
expenses. Its aerosol spray formulation offers easy and clean
applications, while reaching more components and offering complete
distribution of the oil, something especially beneficial in applications
with horizontal cylinder orientation, such as outboard motors. Consult
equipment owners manual for application directions.
